Who Am I?
I’m Stanley Aryanto, a world-renowned, multi-award winning, published and exhibited photographer and mentor. In 2018, I took the leap and left my stable job to chase my photography dreams. The journey wasn’t easy. I faced countless challenges, battled self-doubt, and navigated the complexities of building a sustainable photography business.
Just a few years ago, I was hustling, focusing solely on the quality of my photos. I didn’t know where to find my ideal clients, undervalued my work, and got paid peanuts – far less than what my photography was worth. I struggled to define my ideal client and focused on myself, my product, and how I wanted sales instead of on my audience and how I could provide value to them. I didn’t know how to communicate my value, and therefore, I was never valued.
Most importantly, I didn’t believe in myself, my product, or my photography, which led me to devalue my work. For this reason, I couldn’t make my clients believe in my product, and I couldn’t stand out in this saturated niche
But I persevered, and today, I’m living proof that it’s possible to turn your passion into a thriving career. My work has been:
